Privacy Policy for Krick ON
Introduction
Krick ON ("we," "our," or "us") is a mobile app for cricket scoring, teams, tournaments, and live match streaming. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it when you use the Krick ON app.
Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account details such as name, email address, and password
- Profile details you choose to add (for example phone number, bio, photo, or location text)
- Cricket and community content you create or use in the app (for example teams, matches, scores, follows, and posts)
Information collected automatically
- Device and technical information (such as device type, operating system, app version, and identifiers needed for the app to work)
- Usage and performance information (such as app activity, crashes, and diagnostics)
- Advertising identifiers and related data when ads are shown
- A push notification token if you allow notifications
Only with your permission
- Camera and microphone, when you use live streaming or related capture features
- Photos or files, when you choose to upload or attach images
- Google account access, when you choose Sign in with Google or Connect YouTube (see Google / YouTube data below)
How We Use Your Information
- Provide and improve the app’s features
- Create and manage your account
- Store and sync your content
- Send notifications you have allowed
- Show advertisements
- Support, security, and troubleshooting
- Connect to YouTube so you can go live from the app (only when you choose Connect YouTube)
We do not sell your personal information.
Google / YouTube Data
Krick ON may use Google Sign-In and the YouTube Data API / YouTube Live Streaming API when you choose those features.
Sign in with Google (optional)
If you sign in with Google, we receive basic account information such as your name, email address, and a Google ID token so we can create or sign in to your Krick ON account. We use this only for authentication.
Connect YouTube (optional)
If you tap Connect YouTube, you grant Krick ON access to manage your YouTube account for live streaming (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube). With your permission we may:
- List your YouTube channels so you can choose where to stream
- List or create live stream ingest settings and read the RTMP stream key needed to go live
- Create and bind a live broadcast for your cricket match stream
We use this Google / YouTube data only to provide in-app live streaming to your own YouTube channel. We do not use it to manage subscribers, comments, playlists, analytics, or unrelated videos. We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising.
Connect Facebook (optional)
If you tap Connect Facebook, you sign in with Facebook so Krick ON can help you go live to Facebook. Depending on the permissions you approve, we may:
- Read your basic Facebook profile (name) and email for the connection
- List Facebook Pages you admin, when Page permissions are granted
- Create a Facebook Live Video on a Page you choose and obtain an RTMP stream key for that live
You can also paste a stream key from Meta Live Producer without granting Page permissions. Live video you broadcast is sent to Facebook under your account; Facebook’s own policies also apply. We do not sell Facebook user data or use it for advertising.
Storage
OAuth tokens and stream-key details used for Connect YouTube or Connect Facebook are stored on your device as needed to keep the connection and start a stream. Live video you broadcast is sent to YouTube or Facebook under your account; those platforms’ privacy policies also apply. We do not use Google or Facebook user data for purposes other than those described here.
Sharing
We do not share your Google / YouTube OAuth data with other apps for independent use. When you go live, your stream is published on YouTube according to your YouTube settings. We may use Google as a service provider for sign-in and YouTube APIs.
Revoking access
You can disconnect YouTube in the app. You can also revoke Krick ON’s access at any time in your Google Account under Third-party access / permissions (https://myaccount.google.com/permissions). After revoke, Connect YouTube features will stop working until you connect again.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Krick ON’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Where Data Is Stored
- On your device (for example login session, preferences, offline data, and YouTube / Facebook connection or stream-key cache when you use Connect YouTube or Connect Facebook)
- On our servers (for example account, profiles, and cricket content)
- On a streaming destination you choose, when you go live (for example YouTube or Facebook; that platform’s own privacy policy also applies)
Information Sharing
We may share limited information with:
- Service providers that help us run the app (hosting, ads, notifications, Google sign-in / YouTube APIs, and similar services)
- Other users, when you make content public in the app or start a live stream
- Authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights
- A buyer or successor, if the business is sold or transferred
Advertising
The app may show ads. You can limit personalized ads in your device settings. We do not use Google user data obtained via YouTube OAuth scopes for advertising.
Your Rights
- Access or update your account information in the app
- Request account or data deletion by contacting us
- Request a copy of your data by contacting us
- Change or revoke app permissions in your device settings
- Disconnect YouTube in the app or revoke Google access at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
- Limit ad personalization in your device settings
Children's Privacy
Krick ON is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us.
Data Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please keep your login details and device safe.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy. If we change how we use Google user data, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for consent before using that data in a new way.
